Welcome to Admissions
We provide students in 6-12 who struggle in traditional learning environments with the tools needed to excel academically, emotionally and socially in all aspects of life. We have an excellent special educational program including a team of social workers, learning specialists, and school culture teams members that provide support to all of our students.
We encourage you to explore Opportunity Charter School through our online information sessions and virtual open houses.

🚌 Exciting News: Introducing the Opportunity Charter School School Bus Pilot Program! 🚌
We've got some amazing news to share with. We're thrilled to announce that we're exploring the possibility of launching a School Bus Pilot Program to enhance the safety and comfort of our students' daily commute to school. OCS now offers busing to families grades 6-9 in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan.
Who's it for? This program is designed with our middle school students– those who aren't eligible for transportation via the Department of Education. It's all about ensuring that every student has a reliable and convenient way to get to school.
How does it work? Seats for this pilot program will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. But before we can hit the road, we need to know how many of our middle school students are interested in participating.
How can you get involved? If you're a parent or student interested in this exciting opportunity, please take a moment to let us know! If you're not enrolled, but you're interested in having bussing. Please apply now!
👉 Click here to express your interest and help us gauge the level of interest.
Let's come together to make commuting to school safer and more convenient for our students. We're excited about the potential of this program and can't wait to see it become a reality.
