Dear OCS Families,

We hope that you are doing well during this unprecedented time in our city.  
OCS is committed to continuing educating our students and supporting our families.

In response to the need for remoting learning capabilities, OCS will be distributing laptop computers tomorrow, March 17th from 12-2 at the school.  Due to social dIstancing protocols, PLEASE ONLY COME TO PICKUP LAPTOP IF IT IS AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY.  Report to the security desk for further instructions on distribution.

Also,  Spectrum is offering free broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.

Families can pick up grab and go meals at any DOE school site, including their regular site if attending a charter in district space or their nearest neighborhood district school. ​To help students stay connected during emergencies, the DOE is lending internet-enabled iPads. ​

En respuesta a la necesidad de capacidades de aprendizaje remoto, OCS distribuirá computadoras portátiles mañana, 17 de marzo de 12: 00-2:00pm en la escuela. Debido a los protocolos de diferenciación social, POR FAVOR SOLO VAYA A RECOGER UNA COMPUTADORA PORTÁTIL SI ES UNA NECESIDAD ABSOLUTA. Informe al mostrador de seguridad para obtener más instrucciones sobre la distribución.

Además, Spectrum ofrece acceso gratuito de banda ancha y Wi-Fi durante 60 días a hogares con K-12 y/o universitarios estudiantes que aún no tienen una Spectrum suscripción de banda ancha en cualquier nivel de servicio de hasta 100 Mbps. Para inscribirse llame al 1-844-488-8395. Las tarifas de instalación no se aplicarán a los nuevos estudiantes hogares.

Las familias pueden recoger comidas para llevar en cualquier sitio escolar del DOE, incluido su sitio habitual si asisten a un charter en un espacio del distrito o en lo más cercano escuela del distrito vecino. Gracias.
